Trained at the Medill School of Journalism, Northwestern University, she has a BSJ in Magazine Journalism and an MSJ in New Media Journalism.
She also has studied gender and human rights, feminist theory, and queer theory, earning a minor in Gender Studies.
She has reported on topics ranging from gender-based violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda and the murder of abortion provider Dr. George Tiller to health and sex tips.
Writing both domestically and abroad, Fetters is always eager to explore the world through media.
