I Was Featured On WCIU Chicago!

The other night, I got a text asking me if I’d appear on WCIU’s The Jam for a fitness segment… the next morning at 7am.

Confession: Speaking in front a handful of new people makes me nervous. Speaking on live television? That terrifies me. And, while I’ve made peace with the fact that I have my fair share of fears, I’m adamant that they won’t keep me from living the life I want–and I have the gym to thank for that. Fitness and strength training, in particular, have taught me to push myself past my self-imposed limits and to discover what I’m truly capable of.

So, my response: “Hell, yes, I will!”

Yeah, there are a few “ers” and “ums” in there, but I’m proud of myself for showing up and standing up to my fears! Not too bad for my TV debut, if I do say so myself! Thank you to WCIU and TheJam for having me on to talk about working off those calories with a science-backed workout!
